All products ordered from Thoughtful Gift Baskets by Mary are covered by my personal satisfaction guarantee. If you or your recipient is not completely satisfied with the quality of your gift basket, please contact me personally for a timely resolution. Your complete satisfaction is my goal.
Substitutions
Inventory for gourmet food products and basket containers are moving paradigms. We will make every effort to fill your order with the items specified. However if it becomes necessary to make gourmet food or basket container substitutions, your order will still be prepared with the utmost degree of care using products of equal or greater value and we pledge to never compromise our quality service to you, the customer.
Gift Enclosure Card
A personalized gift enclosure card will accompany your gift basket. Simply enter your message in the “Gift Enclosure Message” section when placing your order.
Receipts and statements
Since the majority of our shipments are made directly to the gift recipient, we do not provide any payment information with the order. As the purchaser, you will receive an email confirmation when you place your order. Receipts by fax or U. S. Postal mail are available upon request.

Your privacy is guaranteed. Under no circumstances will Thoughtful Gift Baskets by Mary, sell, rent, or exchange our customer’s names, addresses, or any other customers’ private information. We may, however, use third parties to aid in providing quality service to you, which may include payment processing and delivery of the gift basket ordered. In the event that your personal information is provided to a third party, under these circumstances, be assured that such information will be handled in the strictest confidence.
Placing an Order
Feel assured that we offer secure online ordering with your Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover cards through our secure internet merchant account. Our secure network has met and exceeded the security requirements of the web designer and financial institutions. You may place your order online or call us directly at (703) 360-8870. No order is shipped or delivered until payment is received unless you are a corporate or individual client with previously arranged payment options.
Sales Tax
In accordance with applicable state laws for the Commonwealth of Virginia, sales tax in the amount of 5.0% will be added to all orders placed, shipped and/or delivered to addresses in the State of Virginia. Sales tax is not collected on other shipments to recipients outside of the State of Virginia.
Fresh Fruit and Chocolate Gift Baskets
Thoughtful Gift Baskets by Mary, wants only to deliver the best quality gourmet food products in a timely manner to the recipient. During the months of May - October, fruit and chocolate gift baskets will only be delivered to local areas. They will NOT be shipped to any locations. Additionally, chocolate items that are listed in other gift baskets may be substituted for cookies or other heat resistant sweets, such as hard candies if they are to be shipped outside of our local area.
